Green Family Christmas
Green Family Christmas
Have you ever reconnected with someone you haven’t seen in YEARS, and they look exactly the same? Like, exactly?
It’s been 16 years since I’d seen my friend Kim, and she looked exactly the same as she did when I last saw her in high school. Like, when she opened her front door, I felt like I was in high school again for a second. Talk about a blast from the past! I almost rubbed my eyes in disbelief.
In high school, nearly all of my memories with Kim took place during youth activities and retreats at our wonderful church Saint Nicholas, in O’Fallon, Illinois. I even got to know her parents during those times, as they served as chaperones for a few of our more significant outings! Sweet, warm, and open people. Just like Kim.
With the launch of my Sweet Green Saves Christmas holiday mini sessions, I was honored to photograph Kim and her honey John with their new little one, Honora.
Baby girl is not quite 4 months yet, but look at her all sitting up on Mama’s lap! She looks like a big girl!
Before the photography session started, Kim explained that Honora smiled all the time, but they hadn’t captured it yet on camera… 🙂
How stinkin’ cute is this??!
I was delighted to capture this for them!
Since moving out to Colorado last October, I haven’t had the pleasure of photographing a little one Honora’s age. So sweet to be around a baby. And it felt good to know that my “Manager of Kid Happiness” skills were still very intact.
Babies, you will let out some smiles for me. 😉
I looove when babies crinkle their noses! I feel like they’re trying to talk back to me but just can’t yet.
And can we talk about gummy baby smiles?
And just a drop of drool resting on the bottom lip.
LOVE!
And what would Christmas be without a little mistletoe? 🙂
So sweet!
