The Ultimate Family Basement

When you own a construction company, I guess you can pretty much rock making your own basement THE ULTIMATE FAMILY BASEMENT.  Up until this point, I have only photographed spaces for Grayson Construction that their clients’ have dreamed up.  This time, I photographed the owner of Grayson Construction‘s basement.  And I should have guessed that it would be the ultimate family basement.

A climbing wall, monkey bars, hanging pods, and plenty of places to play for the kids.  A beautiful bathroom with a rain shower, steam sauna, and infrared for mom and dad.  And a cozy bedroom for grandma to take a break from it all.  Talk about something for everyone!

Can we talk about the climbing wall WALL??!  How cool is that?!

While I do believe I am too tall to fully take advantage of the climbing wall, my arms could use some monkey bar time…and those hanging pods are totally calling to me!

I am also a sucker for warmth and spa-related features, so I could see myself spending quite a bit of time relaxing in that bathroom.  Spaaaaaaaahhhhh…

Would y’all not agree that this is the ultimate family basement?  🙂
